Randall Odes Julian, 63, of Evansville, passed away peacefully Saturday July 16, 2016 at Deaconess VNA Hospice Center. Odes was born in Evansville, IN on November 11, 1952, to the late Jack and Mary Ann (Roy) Julian. He was a graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1970, and attended USI and Ivy Tech. He honorably served in the Air Force from 1975-2000. He retired with the rank of MSgt.
Odes loved working on just about anything. He rehabbed many homes over the years and could fix or repair everything. One of his favorite projects was remodeling his to be mother-in-law’s kitchen.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna (Elliott); sons, Philip (Rebecca) Julian of Montgomery, AL, Randall (Heather) Julian of Belleville, IL; brothers, Ron (Kathy) Julian of Fairborn, OH, Don “Mo” (Patti) Julian of Boonville, IN; sisters, Sue Ann Phillips of Evansville, IN, Kae (Denny) Smith of Coal City, IN, Trudi (Ron) Ernstberger of Indianapolis IN, and by marriage daughter, Diane (Dowden) Leonard of Gray, GA and son, Keith Dowden of Winston-Salem, NC; as well as grandchildren, Phillip Jr, Jordan, Zakary and Xavier Julian an Evan and Erin Leonard; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit from 11:00am Wednesday, July 20, until service time at 1:00pm in Sunset Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , Honor Flight of Southern Indiana, or Deaconess VNA Hospice Center.
