Carolyn Sue (Denton) Rutka – WHS 71 – Mar 28 2016
Carolyn Sue (Denton) Rutka, 62, of Princeton entered rest March 28 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She was born July 7, 1953, in Oakland City, to Donald and Frances (Nalley) Denton.
She drove a school bus for North Gibson School Corp. for 24 years.
She cared for the children on the school bus as her own. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, Shawn Holland, Rodney (Kelly) Holland and Ronnie (Melissa) Holland all of Princeton; brothers, Donald Ray(Diane) Denton and Willie Denton of Oakland City, Bob (Cheryl) Denton of Martinsville, John (Debbie) Denton of St. Charles, Missouri, Charles Denton of Jasper, Jeff (Toni) Denton of Mt. Vernon; sisters, Judy McCrary of Tanner, Alabama, Janice (Lloyd) Riley of Petersburg, Debbie (Mike) Sokeland of Fort Branch; four grandsons; two granddaughters; one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother George Denton.
Celebration of life service is at 11 a.m. Saturday April 2, at New Covenant Baptist Church in Princeton with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time.
Burial will take place in Spurgeon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the family for funeral expenses.
