Betty L. Maxey Kiesel, born July 11, 1927 and passed away on Jan 4, 1990. She died from a massive blood clot at St. Mary’s Hospital, Evansville, IN.
She attended Massey School & Winslow Schools and graduated from Winslow High School, Class of 1944.
Betty married Wilfred M. Kiesel on April 29, 1950.
Betty was a honor roll student throughout her school years. She was employed
at The Princeton, IN Brush Factory from 1944-1950 and was a homemaker and Mother for the remainder of her lifetime. She and her husband, Wilfred, managed a farm for Dewig’s Meat Packing in Haubstadt, IN.
She was survived by her husband and six children: Olivia (Tuts) Kiesel, Julia
Kiesel, David (Theresa) Kiesel, and Carl ( Tina) all of Haubstadt, IN;
Mary H. Kiesel and Andrew (Brenda) Kiesel of Ft. Branch, IN.; sisters:
Hazel Harper of Princeton IN and Thelma Anderson of Indianapolis, IN. six , and a number of cousins.
Preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Mabel Williams Maxey of Oakland City,
IN and brothers, Paul E. and Roy E. Maxey Oakland City, IN.
She was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Haubstadt, IN.
