James Jerome “Botsy” Woolsey, 62, of Winslow, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 4, 1951 to James and Rosalie (Hale) Woolsey. He was a member of Winslow High School Class of 1970.
He married the former Beverly Teague and she preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother, Rosalie Hale, of Winslow; two daughters, Stephanie Woolsey and Tamara Dawn Woolsey; a sister, Penny (George) Bruce; two brothers, Terry (Regina) Woolsey and Richie Woolsey and family; three grandchildren, Brandon Melton, Megan Sutton, and Tosha Ferguson; four great-grand children, Addyson Ralee Melton, Zahia Ann Fergusonm, Nevaeh Dawn Ferguson, and Romeo Sutton; lots of friends and dog, Happy Jean.
His father, James (Lefty) Woolsey and a sister, Debbie Like, preceded him in death. Funeral services was Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Curtis Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Barr officiating. Burial was in the Ashby Cemetery.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
