Kenneth ‘Zeke’ Harper – July 22, 2915
Kenneth “Zeke” Harper, 86, of Winslow, IN died at 10:30 a.m. EDT, Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Petersburg.
Born Nov 16, 2918 in Boonville, he was the son of James Reynolds and Ruby Harper. His first wife, Joyce Harperk preceeded him in death of 1989. He married Lois (Conrad) Harper March 29, 1994. He was a retired coal miner from Old Ben Coal II.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Korea.
He was a member of Winslow General Baptist Church, Winslow Masonic Lodge 260, United Mine Workers of America and Winslow Volunteer Fire Department. He formerly served as a leader in the Boy Scouts.
Surviving are wife, Lois Harper; son, RonnieHarper; daughter, Bonnie Harper; grandchildren, Vanetta (Chad) McConnell, Paula Meece and Kevin Roberts; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. EST at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation was from 9 a.m. EST until 2 p.m. EST. Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery in Coe, Indiana. Rev. Terry Beadles officiated. Harris Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
