Jerrall Ray Sharp – Class of 1962 – April 08, 2015
Jerrall Ray Sharp, 71, Winslow, IN, died Wednesday, April 08, 2015, at Deaconess Hospital.
He was born on November 4, 1943, in Pike County to Thurlo and Helen (Hopkins) Sharp.
He was a graduate of Winslow High School, Class of 1962.
Jerrall was a retired coal miner from Old Ben Coal after 30 years. He was a member of UMWA.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Wade) Sharp, whom he married on July 12, 1963; a son, Troy Sharp, of Winslow; two daughters, Keeja Lee, of Winslow, and Lesley Sharp of Nashville, Tenn; and two grandchildren, Kyler Lee and Jarrett Halderman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nina Edrington and Judy Sharp; and brothers, Jack and John Sharp.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with Rev Mark Peters and Rev Scott Hanks officiating. Burial in Williams Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.
